Bethan Laura Wood
Bethan Laura Wood is a London-based multidisciplinary designer whose practice explores materiality, craftsmanship, colour, and the emotional connections people form with everyday objects. Since founding her studio in 2009, she has developed a distinctive body of work shaped by artisan collaboration, residencies, and location-based research, often responding to local visual and material cultures.
A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Wood has collaborated with international brands including Hermès, Dior, Cassina, Moroso, and Perrier-Jouët, while exhibiting at major institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, SFMOMA, the Design Museum London, and Triennale di Milano. In 2025, she was the subject of the inaugural PLATFORM exhibition at the Design Museum in London, marking her first solo museum exhibition. Alongside her studio practice, Wood is an active educator, lecturer, and workshop leader at institutions and cultural organisations worldwide.
