Part of the Oerry series, this ceramic vase draws inspiration from Queen Anne’s Summer Palace in Prague and its history as an astronomical observatory. Blending imagined cosmic landscapes with references to Renaissance gardens, it reinterprets natural and architectural forms through a sculptural ceramic language.
Made using techniques informed by textile processes such as knitting and weaving, the vase features hand-thrown bodies and layered decoration that evoke organic growth and basket-like structures. The work reflects the duo’s shared interest in material experimentation, ornament, and narrative-driven form.
