Blueprint
12th – 30th September 2026
Mint is pleased to present Blueprint, an exhibition celebrating the reconfiguration of traditional craft techniques as the foundation for bold, contemporary design. Rather than treating heritage skills as something to move beyond, the exhibition positions them as a steppingstone, a technical and material inheritance that becomes the starting point for genuine innovation. Taking its name from the drawings and plans that have always underpinned making, Blueprint asks what happens when centuries of accumulated craftsmanship are read not as history, but as a working document for what comes next.
Mint’s selection of established designers includes works by Cedric Breisacher, Daniel Stefanita, Lucas Zito, Masao Rong and Order Matter, alongside a number of upcoming talents, such as Ao Han, Louis Tipping Stevenson, and Weixi Kuang, who draw on inherited techniques while pushing towards unexpected forms, materials and applications. Together, their work makes the case that craftsmanship’s long development is not a constraint on contemporary design, but its most valuable resource.
Once again, this year, we are delighted to continue our collaboration with ON&ON Designs, showcasing a selection of Polish designers whose work celebrates craftsmanship, innovation and bold design. Featuring Formsophy, this presentation builds on last year’s partnership, reaffirming the strength and originality of Polish design within an international context.
