Kelly Cruz Gonzalez is a Peruvian furniture and spatial designer based in London, working across furniture, objects and interiors. Her practice is informed by memories of Peru and a Latin American lived experience, translating colour, materiality, spatial memory and everyday life into contemporary design.
ROOFSCAPE is a wall-mounted storage cabinet inspired by Lima’s unfinished and continually evolving rooftops. Drawing from corrugated roofs, improvised extensions, and layered structures, its timber surfaces and projecting elements translate the visual language of self-built architecture into furniture. The precise inner framework contrasts with an irregular outer form, reflecting the tension between order, adaptation, and accumulation. Blurring the boundary between cabinet and architectural fragment, ROOFSCAPE explores how material improvisation and spatial
memory can shape contemporary furniture.
