The Node stools forms part of Order Matter’s as found series, in which objects are conceived as fragments drawn from borrowed nature and recomposed through making. Cast in aluminium and mirror polished, Node I begins with the image of a pebble beneath the surface of water, where light bends and shimmers across its form. A shallow carved depression defines the seat, while four tapered supports lift the object from the ground, balancing stillness and movement.
