Holly Hooper is a British artist based in London, working primarily with glass. Her practice explores memory and its connection to place, translating personal experiences and landscapes into colour, shape, and texture. Created during Holly Hooper’s residency at Corning Museum Studio, this body of work explores sky lore and the transitions of sunrise and sunset. Through complex frit layering, variations in glass thickness, and controlled light placement, the pieces reveal an evolving internal glow, translating the changing atmosphere of the sky into glass.
