Attua Aparicio, born in Spain, is a London-based artist and Royal College of Art graduate (MA Design Products) whose multidisciplinary approach spans design, craft and art. She takes a hands-on and experimental approach, drawing upon a her knowledge and research into materials.
Focussing around the core themes of sustainability, material hybridisation and tactility, her works combine ceramics and waste glass. Collaborations are a fundamental aspect of her practice, having co-founded Silo Studio with Oscar Lessing as well as working regularly with her sister, artist Saelia Aparicio.
