Victor Hahner is a German artist and designer who creates unique objects and sculptural furniture from his studio based in East Germany. Since his youth Victor has been curious and inquisitive by nature, discovering the world through his interest in design and materials. During his formative years Hahner spent time in his fathers workshop, where he was able to apply his imagination whilst developing his craftsmanship through experimentation, building and fixing things.
Victor went on to study Jewellery and Object Design at the Pforzheim University of Design, where he developed his artistic expression through his studies in gold and silversmithing. Victor followed his intuition, producing innovative work which was detached from the traditional norms of jewellery design.
In 2019 Hahner worked as an assistant to Valentin Loellmann, where he gained vast experience through his involvement within international interior design projects in Paris, London and Amsterdam, as well as his work within sculpture and furniture.
Victor now works in his own studio where he focusses on our relationship with the objects, furniture and art that surround us in daily life. Through exploring material, feel and shape, he makes it his goal to create a conscious handling and appreciation for these objects.
