Moon Seop Seo

Korean designer Moon Seop Seo, based in the Netherlands, combines an engineering-led, material-focused approach with a minimalist aesthetic. A Cum Laude graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven, his practice explores nature, tradition and the meeting of East and West.
In his Bit-Scape Vessels, Seo reimagines ceramic casting using tiny pixel-like plaster blocks to create unconventional forms, where contrasting textures and shapes bring a sculptural quality to the space. Paired with candlelight and aroma, the vessels become sensory objects that create atmosphere and moments of pause.
