Anatomy of Sound by Matthijs Koerts reimagines the loudspeaker by exposing its essential components, from paper membranes to copper coils and magnets. Using a custom paper moulding technique, he creates acoustic forms tuned to different frequencies, arranged in an open structure where sound moves freely. By making its mechanics visible, the piece transforms a familiar object into both a technical study and a crafted artefact.
