Miyuki Guo is a Chinese Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores transformation, perception, and her inner journey through sculpture and installation. She investigates the space between form and formlessness, where the material and immaterial meet.
Inspired by a moment on a spiralling staircase, suspended in a vacuum, in a passage without beginning or end, this piece reflects a point of equilibrium, a space between polarities. It explores the interplay of opposites: in and out, up and down, and how we locate ourselves in between. The glass shifts colour with the light, violet under fluorescence, pink in warmth, echoing how reality changes with perception.
