Big Bowl

This piece is made of porcelain using the Sgraffito technique which is decorated with black porcelain slip. The designer beautiful depicts a vase, table and flowers. Simple in shape and proportion, the bowl is slip casted from porcelain to the achieve the cleanest and purest shape possible before it is handed painted and then blasted at various temperatures to finish. The end product is this large detailed glazed bowl which works equally as vessel for flowers as it does as a sculptural piece.
