Bodem Tables are a series of Terrazzo-like tables made with ceramic waste. The Terrazzo material, Bodem (meaning ground, lowest part or bottom in Dutch), was developed specifically to make use of ceramic waste. Uniquely, 85% of Bodem is composed by recycled ceramic waste material. Through crushing, sorting, and a dash of cement, these tables breathe new life into broken cups, plates, and teapots, preserving their original charm. Beyond furniture, they symbolise the perpetual cycle and revaluation of our ceramic waste, uniting sustainability with enduring design.
