This Chain Side Table is designed by Bethan Laura Wood. The interlocking construction of Chain is made using multiple ringed bricks, halved and threaded through their centres to aggregate a form. Coloured glasses are similarly combined: aggregating a tonal palette through subtleties of variation and variegation. The curved and polished end details of the cut bricks nod to similar treatments found in many Japanese wooden temples.
