This piece explores the intersection of jewellery, biomaterial and the marine cycle. At the heart of this research is fish scale bioplastic; a biodegradable material Lulu has developed
using discarded fish scales. By transforming this overlooked waste product into a functional and versatile material, her work redefines jewellery materials while highlighting the
importance of ecological responsibility in design.
