Clay, glaze with nepheline syenite and chromium oxide
Courgette Vase is a sculptural piece finished with a chromium-based glaze, a material that is difficult to control at high temperatures. Combining chromium with nepheline syenite preserves its colour range, while the speckled yellow-green surface is created using a dripping technique, giving each piece a subtle, organic character.
