Vincent Xia is a London-based ceramic artist whose practice explores material transformation, spatial tension, and the poetic potential of clay. Dream Residues explores the space between wakefulness and dreaming through ceramic forms created by Vincent Xia using leftover clay from his studio practice. Allowing the material’s accumulated traces and tensions to guide the process, Xia creates intuitive forms that exist between vessel, body, and landscape. Through rough textures, hollowed interiors, and unpredictable surfaces, the work reflects the fragments of dreams, memories, and emotions that linger beyond waking.
