Zijian He is a ceramic designer based in London and Jingdezhen. His practice explores how natural light and ceramic surfaces can transform interior atmospheres. Inspired by the unpredictable deformations of clay in the kiln, his project Eclipse captures the dialogue between material and nature. Stacked forms and irregular textures interact with shifting light and shadow, evoking a sense of harmony without uniformity (和而不同). Through this approach, He reimagines ceramics as mediators between nature and space.
