Estuary Bench

Rob Street Carter is a furniture designer based in North Wales, with a background in Fine Art and Sculpture. Inspired by nature’s weathering, his work features expressive marks and textures. Using materials such as leather tension strings, hand-cast bronze ties, and wool cushions, Carter creates sculptural, yet functional pieces designed to become future heirlooms.
Inspired by watery landscape, the Estuary Bench, is a one-of-a-kind piece of art furniture, capturing the essence of these shifting shapes and the serenity of their patterns. An invitation to pause and reflect, to appreciate the subtle shifts in life that leave their mark over time, just as the tides shape the earth beneath them.
