Fictive Erosion consists of three collections which all derive from a future scenario where human machines are forbidden due to environmental issues. The collections are the speculative results of an ongoing investigation into how to adapt formation processes in nature into the design methods of furniture design. The sculptural table is made from sand that has been exposed to forces such as wind and water, but also from pressure created by the human body. Each piece is created in sand and developed with Alabaster, resulting in unique pieces with a stone-like appearance.
