A stool or side table crafted from recycled timber poles that were once submerged in the Venice Lagoon. Underwater the wood is sculpted by a mollusc, which leaves its trace in the form of peculiar, elongated chambers. After it is recovered from the Lagoon floor, the wood is combined with resin, filling and preserving the cavities. The piece captures the eerie beauty of decay.
