Hidden Floor Light

'Hidden Light' commands as much attention when it is off as when it is on. To create the reticulated surface, the glass must be blown into a metal cage. This design is a challenge for glassblowers in terms of its size and weight. Its heaviness forces the blower to make five trips to pick up enough glass to blow the object. The piece is based on the concept of an inner spark and the universal principles of our inner energy.
