Indigo Wall Sconces

Natalia’s work merges hand-built ceramics with 3D-printed counterparts, creating a dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and technology. Rather than using conventional 3D modeling, she sculpts clay forms by hand, which are then digitized and 3D printed in PLA plastic, before being reunited with the ceramic elements. In doing so, she challenges the concept of purity in the ceramic discipline while embracing a hands-on approach to technology. Through her ornate visual language, Triantafylli explores themes of revivalism, wonder, and wandering, while the resulting objects feel both familiar and otherworldly.
