Kinetics is a ceramic series by Andrea Santamarina that explores the sensation of movement through color, rhythm, and playful imagery. Inspired by the artist’s book Territorio Turista / Tourist Territory (2022), the collection transforms a sequence of vibrant drawings into sculptural, hand-crafted vases.
Produced in collaboration with the prestigious San Ginés Ceramic Workshop, the series reinterprets the historic ceramic traditions of Talavera de la Reina, Spain, through a contemporary lens. Blending traditional craftsmanship with a modern artistic vision, Kinetics reflects on the dialogue between cultural heritage and contemporary society.
