Holly Hooper is a British artist based in London, working primarily with glass and metal. Hooper’s practice explores the liminal space between memory and place; how a distant recollection can resurface as a fleeting image, a colour, a sensation. At the core of her practice lies the act of mending: broken pieces of glass painstakingly woven together with soldered thread, each piece a quiet meditation on the fragility and resilience of memory and identity.
