ME ME ME Mirror

The concept for this thought-provoking piece is built around the question we often find ourselves asking - ‘Who am I?’ Yiwen believes that our identities are layered, the outside layer representing basic identity, which is influenced by our surroundings and society, the second comes from how others perceive us, and the innermost layer represents how we define ourselves. Through the ME ME ME Mirror, Yiwen invites the audience to reflect upon this idea and consider their own identity. Always effected by what others think of us, we may hide elements of our true self, to fit societal norms.
