Nautilus

A tribute to the perfection of nature and childhood memories. Inspired by the wonder of the fossilized shells Andreas admired as a child in the marble floors of his city, this work is born from the fusion of art, nature, and artisanal techniques. The form develops following the proportions of the golden section, that harmonious relationship that has always fascinated artists and scientists for its ability to evoke balance and beauty. The logarithmic spiral of the Nautilus, a symbol of growth and regeneration, is reflected in the hand-carved structure from solid wood, which he then enriched with slivers of precious woods, creating a material dialogue between past and present. Just as the shell seals and abandons its smallest chambers to grow while maintaining the same shape, so this sculpture represents a continuous journey towards harmony. Hanging on the wall, "Nautilus" is not just a shape, but a symbol of beauty and connection with the infinite.
