Miyuki Guo is a Chinese Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores transformation, perception, and her inner journey through sculpture and installation. She investigates the space between form and formlessness, where the material and immaterial meet.
The staircases are built from broken fragments of earlier wax models of staircases, symbolising the layered nature of life’s journey, both the paths taken and those abandoned. These fractured forms become the foundation of who we are. The spiral evokes cosmic memory, while missing sections are cast in bronze, honouring how brokenness itself shapes the beauty of becoming.
