Pigs

Martha is a multidisciplinary designer based in London. Her work focuses on using storytelling and humour to communicate complex ideas. MarthaMarthaMarthaCoin was an exploration into making the worlds first analog cryptocurrency. The currency was ceramic pigs, each unique in glaze and name. Her aim was to give people who are not digitally or financially literate the chance to understand complex economic ideas by designing a physical system. By making intangible topics tangible, complex systems become clearer, and more people can engage with them.
