Rinse Off Collection

For this collection the designer was inspired by the industrial process of textile production. She has created a series of textiles pieces woven from raw, unspun wool, with the help of potato starch as a temporary stiffener. Potato starch has long been used in the textile industry to stiffen spun wool, making it stronger to weave with. But spinning wool reduces its natural softness. The designer has developed a method to maximise the potential of starch without compromising on the softness, thus resulting in a beautiful textile collection.
