Founded by Carla Joachim and Jordan Morineau, this Eindhoven-based studio is dedicated to exploring the intersection between collectible design and functionality, striving for a modern design language. Drawing inspiration from the past, they establish visual and emotional connections with their audience through a reflective approach. Their series, “Ten Thousand Drops,” features a hundred unique ceramic vessels crafted through an ongoing experimental process with digital making. Utilizing a purpose-developed machine called MOCA, they drip blue glaze in a mathematical rhythm, creating distinctive patterns. Through experimentation with computer code, Joachim and Morineau explore the multitude of unique combinations possible in this innovative and captivating collection.
