The Bird is an interactive lighting device that alters our perception of space and time. As the wings of the bird move, the projected shadow becomes elongated and perceives to extend the surrounding space. Simultaneously, each bird flaps its wings at different speeds, as if manipulating time. The wings move with such delicacy it’s hard to believe the mechanism is artificial.
