The Transformed Remnants Mirror by Willem Zwiers reimagines discarded materials as functional art. Crafted from repurposed thrift store books, the pages are sliced, bent, and hardened with a water and wood glue mix, forming a stone-like material with flowing edges and straight planes.
Designed to celebrate the material’s unique properties, this side table transforms remnants into a sculptural, one-of-a-kind piece that embodies both preservation and renewal. where texture, colour, and contrast are central to the design.
