Woven is a selection of ceramic furniture inspired by textile making techniques such as knitting and weaving. The sculptures draw upon these ancient methods for their decorative finishes and the strong structural supports they provide. The Woven Ceramic Table is compiled of thick strands of ceramic, woven like a wicker basket. The glaze highlights the smooth curves and contrasts as the ceramic weaves in and out of the vertical table legs.
