The Blow-up Lamp by Willem Zwiers rethinks traditional ceramic rules through playful experimentation. Rather than avoiding air, Zwiers uses compressed air to inflate two clay slabs inside a wooden mould, allowing the form to expand like a balloon. The result is a sculptural lamp that highlights the expressive potential of clay and celebrates intuitive, hands-on making.
