This painting, of a young woman with a tray of pomegranates, is from an album dating from the late 19th century compiled of the works of contemporary Persian calligraphers, and with illustrations (like this one) drawn in the Safavid style. Although the calligraphers (and possibly painters) were all from Persia, the album is believed to have been assembled in Turkey. It is now in the possession of the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, Maryland.
