These tables are the result of the designer’s ongoing research into producing large ceramic objects. It evolved from the “Scraped Earth” project. The designer has devised a way to increase the size of production of ceramics, thus expanding the limits of the material. He has created a collection of tables with complex shapes, different functions and material finish. The tables have a sponged finish giving them a highly tactile quality. This collection demonstrates ceramics in a new context through challenging the limitations of the material.
