Willem Zwiers

Willem Zwiers describes himself as an autonomous designer, allowing his intuition to lead his creative process. Willem works in an experimental, hands-on way discovering certain essences of materials, forms and colours and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The mould of this glass object is made from scrap wood originating from old cabinets and chairs, the different types of wood burn differently into the glass which gives the object unique imprints and textures.
