Dear Objects, founded in 2019 by Marc Meeuwissen, is a design practice based between Antwerp (Belgium) and Bergen op Zoom (The Netherlands), focused on functional objects created through a strict “One Sheet, One Tool, One Object” process. Inspired by brutalist architecture, this chair embraces a raw, unrefined aesthetic. Crafted from hand-sawn Valchromat White Grey, the surface retains visible saw marks and is finished with a water-based lacquer to highlight its texture and material honesty.
