The Dol stools are inspired by the iconic stone walls of the South Korean, Jeju Island. The volcanic stone that inspire these pieces can be seen in everyday scenarios on the island. These versatile stools that mimic the stone are made using expanded cork, a sustainable material created by subjecting cork granules to high temperatures. As the cork granules undergo this transformation, they expand and release their unique character. The results of the process are stools that harmonise perfectly with the island’s volcanic terrain while championing eco-friendly practice.
