The Manta Pilti Low Credenza is one of three limited edition elegantly designed pieces which brings attention to the challenges faced by Indulkana and its fragile ecosystem. Paired with Tanya’s references which include the Parakeelya flower, a personally significant, seasonal, small purple bloom that was her mother’s favourite. It once blanketed the Indulkana hills and is now seen far less frequently. This once plentiful bloom is now only found in hard-to-spot patches far from the road due to increased heat, reduced rainfall, and dry, sandy soil caused by climate change. This piece serves as a poignant reminder of the need for collective action in combating climate change.
