Materials
Solid Chestnut wood, extra-clear polished resin, burnished steel legs. Natural wood surface not covered by resin on the section planes. Selective wood coating with matte natural effect.
The design engages the concept of environmental cross-section. By filling the gaps with resin, the designers achieve a new functionality with the poetic choice to freeze time at the end of the material’s cycle, giving it a new life rather than going to waste.
