Time Rock Stack Curio Sunset uses cast glass elements in the shape of rocks to create a stack of energising colours. Composed of 8 rocks some of which are daylight reactive creating unusual shfts in colour. The stack captures light through textured and polished surfaces and works in balance in both colour and form. The top rock contains a veil which documents the capture of air within the glass that was frozen upon cooling. Polished surfaces can be peered through while the colours below and above blend into one another.
Every piece of glass produced is taken from a cast of an actual rock or object and then formed in glass. All work is carried out by hand by an experienced team of artisans at the Max Jacquard Glass studio in the UK.
